Obituary

Mr. Freddie Lee Benjamin was born on June 6, 1956, to the parentage of Mr. Bennie and Mrs. Leggie Perkins Benjamin in Peach County, Fort Valley, Georgia. Freddie attended Peach County public schools and after graduation from high school he joined the United States Air Force and served his country for 20 years.  He retired from the Air Force in 1994 after completing many tours in the US and aboard.  After retiring from the Air Force, Freddie drove tractor trailers for Swift and Hogan Motors for 11 years,

Freddie will be fondly remembered by family and friends.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed  and to know him was to love him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Leggie Benjamin; five brothers: Bennie Jr, Charlie, Willie, Raymond, and Bobby; one sister, Lucy and a niece, Dana.

Freddie's earthly life ended October 10, 2022, at his residence in Houston County, Georgia.  His love will always live in the hearts of his wife of 47 years, Debra Anne Benjamin; his son, Jeffery Benjamin of San Antonio, Texas; his daughters, Nikole and Nikinnia Benjamin of Warner Robins, Georgia; his six grandchildren: Deunt'e, Ezekiel, Dee, Maya, Jayden, and Cadance; He also has two brothers, Robert Benjamin of Fort Valley, Georgia and William Benjamin of Peach County, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
