Lindy Hubbard (Hubbard) Johnson

There are things in life that we cannot understand, but we must trust God’s judgment and be guided by his hand, and all who have God’s blessings can rest safely in his care, for He promises safe passage on the wings of faith and prayers!

Lindy Hubbard Johnson affectionately called “Doough” was born on February 28, 1935, to Mr. Jim and Mrs. Mary Trice Hubbard in Macon County, Montezuma Georgia.  She began her education in the County's local churches and schools.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Nathaniel Johnson and into this union, four children were born. Linda was a dedicated and loyal worker at Southern Frozen Foods for fifteen years before her health began to decline.

Lindy was a kind-hearted and free-spirit person; she loved washing and housekeeping.

Serving the Lord will pay off, therefore Lindy join the New Phillip Primitive Baptist Church; where she enjoyed praising the Lord.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, her husband, Nathaniel, two children, Dianne and Willie James, a grandson, Travis Deion Wright.

On Monday, December 6, 2021, our Beloved entered into eternal rest on the wings of love.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two children: Nathaniel (Germaine) Johnson Jr of Macon, GA and Barbara Ann (Carl) Wright of Warner Robins, GA; three grandsons: Christopher D. (Felicia) Jackson of Fort Valley, GA, Johnny Jackson, Jr of Warner Robins, GA and Taquan D. Wright of Macon, GA; four great-grandsons: Caleb D. Jackson, Christopher D. Jackson Jr,  Chrishaud D. Jackson, and Christian D. Jackson all of Fort Valley, GA; brother and sisters: Jet Hubbard (Barbara) of Columbus, OH, Annie Lee Thomas of Montezuma, GA, Mary Louise Collier of Perry, GA, Myra H. Oliver, Vera Solomon both of Montezuma, GA, Rosa Hubbard of Vienna, GA, Hattie Hubbard and Betty Joe McKenzie both of Montezuma, GA; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.
