Graveside Services for Mr. Walters will be held Monday, May 3, 2021, at 11:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church, Montezuma, GA.
Mr. Hubert Walters, son of the late Mr. Hugh Morris and the late Mrs. Sarah Harvey Walters was born in Macon County, Georgia on December 13, 1955.
He departed this life on Monday morning, April 26, 2021, at Phoebe Sumter Hospital in Americus, Georgia.
Hubert was raised in a Christian family. He was educated in the public school system: Lamson - Richardson and D.F. Douglas High School.
Hubert Walters was joined in Holy Matrimony to the former Debbie Collins. Unto this union 3 children were born.
Hubert will forever be remembered by his family as a fun-loving, great cook (Mac & Cheese his specialty), an avid sports fan, and a family-supportive man. He was also known as a Master Carpenter who took great pride in his work.
He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; wife, Mrs. Debbie Collins Walters; 4 siblings: Morris Walters, Joyce Butler, Joanne Edwards, and Bettye Jean Allen.
Left to cherish his loving memories: 3 sons: Paul Collins of Hartford, Conn, Joseph A. Walter, and Hubert A. Walters, Jr. all of Marshallville, GA; 10 sisters: Rosa L. Butler, Sarah Harris (Billie), Cornelius Livingston, Peggy Walters of Marshallville, GA, Ella Sullins of Hartford, Conn, Barbara McKellar, and Linda Walters of Montezuma, GA, Jeanette Harris (Leon), and Josie Thomas (Keith) of Atlanta, GA and Yvonne Bryant of Fort Valley, GA; 3 brothers: Harvey Walters, Charlie Walters (Sharon) of Hartford, Conn, and Dennis Walters of Marshallville, GA; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
