Ruth Evans, daughter of the late Mr. Jesse Hardwick and the late Ms. Josie Harris Dixon was born September 15, 1938 in Crawford County, Roberta, Georgia. She was educated in the County public schools. Ruth accepted Christ as her personal Savior at a very young age and stood true to her confession for a lifetime.
Later in life she met and married Mr. Kenneth Evans in 1969 and to this union one son was born.

Precious Memories will forever remain in the heart of her family: Ruth prayed the prayer of Hannah and God blessed her with a son: she was a good mother; she made great sacrifices for her son; he was the joy of her life and she worked and provided a comfortable life for him. Their home was their safe haven there she remain until her health began to fail.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband.
